Dez, as he was fondly called was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone on July 18 1984 to Yvette Omotunde Alongo-Coker and the late Ahmad Tejan Jalloh commonly called uncle Tejanie. He moved to the United States in 1991 and lived in Richmond, Virginia. he attended Cave Spring High School, in Roanoke, Virginia where he exceeded in both academics and football. Dez obtained a football scholarship to Bridegewater college and he played for the BC Eagles football team. during which time the college team won two divisional championships. he graduated with bachelor of science (communications). it was during his collegiate years that Desmond decided to give his life and service to the lord and continued to serve him devoutly until the lord called him home to higher service. He was a member of pastor Larry’s church in Bridgewater, Va and New Covenant Ministries in Chantilly, Virginia. Desmond worked for Hertz, CSC in northern Va. and IAP worldwide (Walter Reed, Optomology).
